The neighborhood is really quiet, and the rooms are very clean, with fresh sheets every day. The problem was the other guests: they’d come in during the early hours making lots of noise and playing music. There also wasn’t anyone on site to look after the place.

The walk to the center takes a while, but it’s pleasant and felt safe at any hour. Our rooms were lovely and cleaned every day. Mr. Anderson greeted us and was a great host, always checking that we were comfortable and enjoying our time on the island. 😊😊

I stayed here a couple of years ago and really loved it. The host was attentive, the beach was close, and there were supermarkets nearby. My room was clean and had air conditioning.

Sarie Bay is a very quiet neighborhood, with supermarkets, internet access, restaurants, and other useful places nearby. Our room had a mini-fridge, and the friendly hosts kept it clean, replacing towels and linens as needed. It’s a comfortable, affordable inn, close to the airport and Spratt Bight beach, near the “I Love San Andrés” sign. The commercial center in the north is also fairly close, though it’s several kilometers on foot. In July 2021, taxis to the shops cost between $10,000 and $12,000 COP.
