We waited an hour for our room after arriving at 9:30 pm, even though check-in was at 4:00 pm. The room looked out onto another building, had just one outlet at the far end, no working Wi-Fi, and no shower soap despite having three shampoos. They charged us at checkout for a towel with makeup on it, which looked like it would wash out. We only got one towel for two days, and housekeeping never cleaned the room or replaced it. The hotel's location is good, but San Andres is small enough that pretty much every hotel is well located. In all my travels, this is the worst hotel I've stayed at. Find somewhere else.

The food was good, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The hotel sits right on the beach, too. The facilities could really use maintenance and updating, though they aren't falling apart. It felt like a case of getting what you pay for.

We were staying at another Decameron on the island and wanted to visit the hotels in the area while choosing where to book next. The usual policy, as we understood it, lets you visit with ID from the other hotel. But the staff here were rude and wouldn't let us in. We were comparing location, layout, atmosphere, and how the staff treated people. Isleño is now at the bottom of our options.
