Sol Caribe Sea Flower

The location is the only good thing here. Everything felt very old, the rooms were dirty, the TV didn’t work, and the Wi-Fi kept cutting out. Even the hot water felt like jumping into a pool. I booked a few days for my girlfriend and me, and we each had our own ticket when I made the reservation. The booking showed one person, and they wanted to charge more to add her than the hotel itself cost. I showed them all my paperwork. They said they’d work with me since it was a mistake and everything had been paid, but in the end they did nothing. They’d apparently rather have me change hotels than work with their customers.

This was my third stay here over two consecutive years, and the experience is still excellent. Everyone at the hotel tries to bring a good attitude and give good service. They make me feel at home, and I really appreciate it. May God keep blessing you and let me return soon to my paradise, San Andrés, and of course stay again at the best hotel of all, Sol Caribe Sea Flower!!!! Thank you all!!!!

The room was filthy, with clumps of hair, mold, and dirt, and the AC mold could be a health hazard. The facilities need investment, the rooms need cleaning, and the food and drinks should be better quality. The food and drinks seemed cheap, the staff were unfriendly, and I was deeply disappointed with the whole experience. We canceled our stay and were lucky to find somewhere through Airbnb, but the staff made leaving difficult. The manager wasn’t there when we decided to go, and they told us we had to wait until the next morning. They still charged us over $400 at the full rate for that gross room. We hope we can get the money back through Booking. I didn’t like anything about the place. It’s disgraceful how much they charge for what you get.

The staff were all awesome and made the stay really comfortable and enjoyable. I’d definitely recommend it.
