Hostal La Casona Don Juan

Breakfast had several good options, and having the lobby open around the clock was a real help. It's a cute little boutique hostal with a lovely outdoor area.

The staff really made the stay, always kind and ready to help. Thanks so much, Emmanuel and Iris! The rooms were comfortable and clean, breakfast was good, and the central location made it easy to get around. They also helped us book activities, which was great for a few days in town.

The interior design is beautiful and gives the place a warm, welcoming feel. Breakfast was tasty and filling enough, and both the rooms and facilities were clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful with everything. It sits on the main street, but far enough from the road and parties that those weren't a bother. Sound does carry through the building's open spaces into the rooms in the mornings and evenings, though, so I'd bring earplugs even for a private room.

The courtyard and chill area made it a really nice place to spend time, and there's a well-equipped kitchen too. Staff were wonderful and helped arrange activities around San Gil. Everything was super clean, including the rooms and toilets, and the location is right in the centre. Breakfast is included. One of the best hostels I've stayed at in Colombia, a six-star experience!
