I rarely leave reviews because I usually prefer to recommend places directly, but this hotel left me frustrated. The staff seemed unsure what they were doing and argued with us instead of helping. When you're in hospitality, spending an hour debating a clear hotel management issue around third-party bookings isn't the way to handle it. I hope management reflects and makes it easier for future guests to get help. There are plenty of beautiful hotels here. The ones we stopped at to ask about parking were polite and helpful.

My wife made the reservation, so the hotel's claim that it wasn't my booking doesn't change what happened. We were left sitting in the heat, watching our bike and luggage, while management argued about payment for over an hour. Their reply didn't include an apology or take responsibility. That tells travelers how little they care about guests. The hotel controls how it handles Expedia bookings and payments. They could have let us park and unload while they sorted out how Expedia works. Their response to my wife's review was also a complete lie. Her photos show them demanding that we pay them directly on top of the Expedia payment. They only care about themselves. Don't support this place!

We were traveling when I found the hotel on Expedia for $60. When I asked about parking and the price in person, they quoted $92, so I booked through Expedia because it was cheaper. I told them I'd made the reservation and paid, as Expedia required, and showed them both the receipt and the card charge. They insisted it was only a hold and that I had to pay again, even though that wasn't true. I wasn't going to pay twice for a non-refundable booking. My husband was left on the street with our motorcycle and all our things while I spent about 30 minutes trying to sort it out. They wouldn't budge. They could have let us check in and contacted Expedia to work it out, but they didn't. I don't recommend this hotel and won't return. That's bad business. If they want guests to pay at the hotel, they should update their Expedia listing. Edit: More than 2 weeks later, I'm still trying to resolve this. They say they only wanted us to wait, but that isn't true. They demanded that I pay again, and they still deny receiving the money. I'm currently disputing it with Expedia, who say the hotel has already been paid. Not good business!

We had a lovely stay and will definitely come back. The hotel is beautiful and close to the center, the staff were wonderful, and breakfast was very good. The coffee was excellent too.
