The apartment was comfortable and well laid out, with everything we needed. One thing to be aware of is that the elevator wasn’t working, and some apartments are as high as the fifth floor. I was on the second, so it wasn’t as much of an issue for me. The beach itself is beautiful, quiet, safe, and free from the noise of street vendors. That’s why I’m giving it five stars.

The sunsets were beautiful, but I didn’t like the apartment. The layout didn’t work for me, it smelled old, and in apartment 208 only one air conditioner was working. The apartment we stayed in was very dirty and in really bad shape. I can’t speak for the others, but the experience overall needs improvement. Salguero Beach was just okay. For a place to stay, I prefer Bello Horizonte or Cabo Tortuga.
