Hotel Arhuaco Rodadero

The one good thing is the beach, just a 3-minute walk away. The rest was awful. We stayed two nights, and road noise meant loud music until 3am the first night, which wrecked the next day's plans. The second night it went on until midnight. There's no soundproofing, and daytime rest isn't possible either, since music plays by the pool, which is enclosed and surrounded by rooms. They call breakfast a buffet, but it's served, and it was the worst breakfast ever: runny, uncooked eggs, dry bread that seemed days old, and soggy fruit. HAHAHA, you have to laugh or you'll cry. At least there are some great pastry shops nearby for another option.

The staff provided excellent service, and being so close to the beach was a real plus. Breakfast was the main letdown: average, greasy, and short on variety. Otherwise I enjoyed the stay, but that issue brings my rating to 4 stars.

The beach is a block away, and there are lots of shops nearby. I liked the location and especially how friendly everyone was. Yanetta was lovely and helpful, always such a happy person to see each day. Breakfast was included, the Wi-Fi worked well, and the pool was clean.

We were a family of four, and the location was handy, one block from rodadero beach. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, though towels weren't changed every day. Staff were okay, but the food was absolutely horrible: hardly any choice, the same breakfast each day, runny scrambled eggs, and portions so small we were always hungry. They were very stingy with food. The pool looks old, there's no bar, and there are no activities for children or adults. I would NOT recommend this hotel. Stay away! AVOID THIS HOTEL!
