Calle 11 Hostel Santa Marta

A clean pool and a well cared for property made this a great place to relax. The staff were friendly and attentive to what you need. It’s about a 10 minute walk to the beach, and it’s not crowded or a party spot.

After a long trip, this was a great place to rest and recharge. It’s easy to cook here, the rooms and bathrooms are tidy, and the pool area is a nice size. Friendly owners and staff, plus hammocks and a pool table for relaxing. I’d really recommend it.

We only stayed one night in Rodadero, but it was quiet and comfortable. The bar and pool are the highlights, with a big living room and kitchen too. Rooms were very clean and tidy. The owner was handsome and kind, and the staff were lovely and welcoming.

Our last hostel on a four-month S.A trip turned out to be the best. The social atmosphere was a big part of it, with the staff organising games and making everyone feel welcome. We had a huge deluxe private room with wardrobe space and a balcony. It was clean, the beds were comfy, and wifi was pretty good. The showers were cold and had little pressure, but in the heat of Santa Marta that wasn’t a problem. I’d definitely recommend Calle 11.
