The location and views were okay, but they didn't make up for the room. It's old, broken, and not clean, the cooling system doesn't work, and the cardboard-thin doors don't help. The fan is even louder than the music blasting at all hours. If you want to sleep, don't stay here. I couldn't sleep at all.

Everything on the strip is right outside, which is convenient. But the door to the room is so thin it feels like one kick would get someone in, and staff leave at night, so anyone can enter. If security matters to you, this isn't the place.

The room was bright and had the beach view we booked, and the place is near both supermarkets and the beach. Taganga Beach also has some lovely spots for food or a drink. This is an affordable, standard place with no amenities, and the water pressure is very low, as it is in many accommodations around the city. It isn't a luxury hotel, but it works if you can live with a few details and just need somewhere nearby at a reasonable price.
