It feels more like a small hotel than a hostel. The staff communicated well, and the bathroom was clean with a shower that had plenty of pressure. The room was nice, though the air conditioner made a lot of background noise.

The shower was cold, as it seems to be everywhere, and we had to ask for a small face or hand towel. They brought one over after we asked. We liked the firm bed, and the location was amazing for the price.

The rooms were clean, and the staff were friendly. There was a TV and AC, though we found the bed a bit hard. On Saturday night, music from nearby bars carried into the room, so bring earplugs.

The reception staff were excellent, friendly, and helpful whenever I asked for information. The location was excellent too, one block from Santa Marta's tourist center and the coast. I stayed twice, and the rooms were quite different. The first was spacious and comfortable, with a wardrobe, fan, AC, a street-facing window, and a large bathroom, but no hot water. The second was smaller and a bit dirtier, with a little bathroom, no wardrobe, and a very small window.
