There are five blocks between the hotel and the beach. Inside, there's an elevator and a roomy reception hall.

The only thing I noticed was the heat in the common areas. With check-in at 3 pm and Santa Marta being so hot, it gets uncomfortable without any fans there. Otherwise, everything was wonderful. The hotel is lovely, the food is good, and the staff are friendly.
