Hotel Aguamarina

There was no elevator, and other guests whose rooms faced the street said the noise kept them from sleeping. Our interior room was quieter, but had no natural light or ventilation. It did have a minibar and decent air conditioning. The included breakfast was modest but adequate. In the bathroom, the badly fitted sink was nearly falling off and leaked onto the floor. There was no hot water, so the cold shower was noticeable, though less of a problem if you're very hot. The shower was just a pipe, and it got clogged.

We had a comfortable stay and would definitely come back. My room had a window and balcony facing the street, and it was airy. The hotel and service were excellent. Breakfast and a refrigerator were included, and buses for the airport and different tourist spots stop right outside.

The staff were really friendly and helpful, and the rooms were clean, spacious, and well kept, with good air conditioning. Each had a table and desk. The hotel is centrally located, with public transport nearby, five minutes from El Rodadero and close to Gaira beaches. Its position near the airport, bus terminal, Santa Marta, and El Rodadero also makes it a good choice for business trips.

The reception staff were very friendly, and the hotel is well located, quiet, and reasonably priced. The rooms were comfortable too. Breakfast wasn't for me: scrambled eggs, a sandwich, and red wine 😬.
