We stayed for two nights, a perfect stop to relax and visit playa Cristal and playa Cinto. The food and cocktails were good too. I loved their filet mignon.

This may be the worst hotel experience I’ve had. The place was presented as something impressive, but it was a huge disappointment, from the moldy smell in the rooms to some of the worst customer service I’ve seen. Our room smelled like perfume covering what seemed to be mold in the AC. We’d picked the location because reviews and amenities made it seem peaceful, but when we came back from the beach, there was a private kids’ birthday party making an extremely loud noise. They said it would end soon, then at 6pm, then 7pm, and so on. At 7:30, people were still everywhere, at least 40 of them, and there was no room to use the pool or eat in peace. When we complained, they offered us a second room that smelled even more like mold. We had to keep complaining to get a semi-decent room with less smell, though it was still there. In the end, they threatened to call the cops on us. What a shame. I don’t usually complain like this, but it was too much. I’m never going back or recommending the place to anyone.

The staff were always ready to help with whatever we needed. The rooms were very comfortable, and the pool was lovely. It’s also a spectacular base at the entrance to Tayrona National Park, handy for visiting Neguanje and Cristal beaches.

We left disappointed. There’s a lot of potential here, but poor management and cleanliness let the place down. Plastic was floating in the pool, our room wasn’t cleaned during the stay, and there was no toilet paper or towels when we arrived. Breakfast was very basic and didn’t look appealing. We were the only guests, yet the place felt short on motivation. Only Andrea was attentive. The rest of the team didn’t seem interested in keeping the resort in good shape. We also weren’t told in advance that, despite there being no entrance fee for Tayrona National Park, we’d have to pay for an overpriced guide or take a boat.
