It's a long way from the beach, and the service was terrible. When we reported the internet problem, they ignored us. The internet was extremely slow, and the TV couldn't connect to it. The sink barely trickled, the shower door was missing, and showering left the whole floor soaked. When we complained again, they said all the sinks in the complex had the same problem, so we chose to move to another hotel. Our room also didn't look like the one shown on Despegar. I wouldn't recommend it.

The hotel is handy for transport, being close to the bus terminal and right by an avenue where taxis and motorcycle taxis are easy to find. There's an Ara next door and a mini-supermarket on the first floor. Breakfast is good and served on a nice terrace on the fourth floor, where you can sit and catch the breeze. The hotel itself starts on the second floor and has two more floors above it. There isn't parking or an elevator, and you can't buy toiletries or drinks at the hotel, but the first-floor shop and Ara have them. Our room was clean, though a few things could use improvement. The beds are cement covered in porcelain tile. Water pressure wasn't great, and the shower head should be longer so you don't hit your head on the faucet handle or wall. There was no soap dish, so I had to hold the soap while showering. The shower wall looked white from soap scum, though a good scrub should take care of it. Avoid the street-facing rooms if you can. The view is just an empty lot, and traffic on the avenue gets loud, with party buses and young people on motorcycles passing by, probably because there's a university nearby. Rooms near reception are noisy too, because of guests arriving, the phone, and the main doorbell. Soundproof windows in the street-facing rooms would help.

It's easy to get around from here, and nearby supermarkets offer plenty of options. No complaints from me. I recommend it.

We couldn't use the terrace, and we had to call over and over for towels and help with the internet. The hotel is cheap, so it's suitable for a night or two, but the service left a lot to be desired. Receptionist David was completely inattentive, didn't try to find solutions, and didn't seem to care about guests' well-being. I wouldn't come back.
