The area felt safe, and we never felt in danger. Free Wi-Fi was good, and the AC worked very well. But the room didn’t look like the colorful pictures on Priceline at all. It was extremely basic, with almost nothing on the walls, just a bed, table and chair, tiny refrigerator, and AC. My girlfriend’s an interior designer, and she felt it was like a jail cell. The bed was cheap and extremely firm. I like that, but she didn’t. The shower was meant to have hot water, but it wasn’t working, so we had a cold shower. Breakfast was basic but good enough, with eggs, pancakes, mango, and coffee or chocolate. We stayed on a Saturday night after our friend’s wedding party. The hotel was cheap enough, and I’d stay again if they added some decor, got better mattresses, and fixed the cold water.

The cafeteria food was delicious, and I really liked the place. It has everything you need, with very kind staff who’ll do everything they can to make your stay the best. It’s near the Rodadero beach zone, banks, ATMs, and restaurants. There’s no sea view, which was the only thing I didn’t like, but it’s so close to the water that it didn’t matter.

The amenities are nice, especially the pool and bar, and the breakfast buffet is well balanced. The hotel is clean, and the staff are polite and helpful. My room had a slight smell, though.

The breakfast was very basic and had no choices. The location is good, the staff are friendly, and the rooms were very clean with well-maintained amenities.

The place is a bit ugly, and neither the small rooms nor the small pool look much like the pictures. I wouldn’t suggest staying here, since there are better options in Santa Marta for a better price.
