I've stayed at La Tortuga twice now, and this time brought my family. Everyone loved the relaxed, welcoming, authentic feel of the place in Taganga. Mona, the owner, is such a sweetheart, warm, attentive, and clearly puts a lot of love into it. Gabriel and the rest of the team were wonderful too, always making us feel at home. The Bay of Taganga view is unbeatable, and sunrise coffee or sunset drinks are hard to beat. A house turtle was a fun surprise that made everyone smile. You can also dive right from where you're staying, which makes it easy to see Taganga underwater. La Tortuga has heart, character, and an incredible location. I'd happily return and recommend it without hesitation.

The diving courses were really cool, and they were flexible whenever something came up. I had a great stay at Tortuga too. Mona and Said are super friendly, and every evening brought a perfect sunset!

Said and Mona hosted bbq's and invited us to bring ingredients and join in, which made for some great times. The social areas are relaxing, the location is great, and the balcony terrace has stunning views. Amazing place, I'll be back soon.

Such a gorgeous hostel, and the rooftop was my favorite. I loved seeing the turtles crawling around too. I had a really nice stay and did my Open Water certificate there.

A beautiful time in Taganga. I worked every day from their rooftop, with the best view and really reliable internet. The hosts were super kind, the room was very comfy, and there was an equipped kitchen and a pool.
