We booked a balcony room and the view was so peaceful. The bed was fantastic for sleeping, and the staff were really friendly. We came to work remotely, and the internet was stable enough for meetings and back-office tasks. The internet and electricity sometimes fluctuated or went out for a while, which can happen in rural areas. We wanted somewhere to get away from city noise, and this place did the job. Prices were very competitive too. I’m adding it to my favorites. Bring bug spray, trust me, you’ll need it.

The balcony had an amazing view, and our room at Palmarío was cozy and really clean. The staff were always so sweet and attentive. We loved staying here and would come back, especially with Mendihuaca beach being one of the prettiest along this coast.

We had loud music and screaming from guests and staff at Castle Beach Hostel next door, out on the beach in front of this place, until 3:30am. The power also went out often, so there was no fan for half the night. There were bugs, and although the rooms had doors, huge gaps were open in the walls. I don't understand the good reviews. This place is terrible.

The beach is right outside, and the accommodation is the cheapest, with air-conditioning. The owner is incredibly nice. Amazing place, would absolutely recommend it.

Good location, but the service was terrible and the staff really rude. The fan in the dorm wasn't working, there was only one shower and one toilet for eight people, and the A/C wasn't very good either.
