Being right by the beach was the main advantage, and it was very convenient. We were on the first floor, where there were no windows, but the air conditioner worked fine. The apartment was decent. The fridge was broken, so storing food or cooking wasn't possible. The shower was very small but worked. The woman who gave us information over WhatsApp was very nice; the manager at the property was just so-so. He wasn't clear when communicating and offered to bring towels, but even after we asked several times, they never arrived.

Check the fine print carefully, because there were a lot of extra charges. I booked the apartment for 120,000COP, then was told after booking there'd be another 50,000COP for cleaning, 15,000COP per person, 45,000COP total, so we could leave and return whenever we wanted, plus a parking fee. Parking was first said to be 15,000COP, which I had already paid, but the man showing us the apartment then said it would be 50,000. At least I had paid the 15,000COP already, or I'd have had to pay that much more. The add-on fees came close to the original booking price. Watch what they ask you to pay, because it might just be a scam.

We were out when someone entered the room and took cash. Three apartments were robbed that same day. It felt unsafe, especially since there was no sign that the lock had been forced.
