The Blue House Hostel - Santa Marta

I spent two hours looking for somewhere affordable, clean, cute, and with AC, especially with so many people around. Then I found this amazing place that went above and beyond. The people are really nice, breakfast is included, the pool is beautiful, and there's a great rooftop with drinks. Rooms are super clean, too. I've got no complaints, only good things to say. I'll come back next time I'm in Santa Marta. Best attention and prices in the area.

The front desk guy was so friendly, and the service was amazing. I never felt rushed or nervous about anything, and I booked two more nights because I loved the hospitality. The beds are clean, the rooms feel private, and every room has AC. It's not freezing, just enough to sleep really well, and the place is very clean. The location is good, close to the beach and restaurants. I'd recommend it to backpackers who want a good night's sleep or digital nomads looking for somewhere to work and feel safe.

I had a good stay overall. The location works well, the staff are nice, and breakfast is okay. The pool was pretty dirty, though, and the Wi-Fi gave me some trouble. My room was noisy because the road runs just behind the bathroom windows, and there weren’t many toilets for the number of guests.

The sea breeze was lovely, and there are lots of shops, restaurants, and attractions nearby. The price was super cheap, breakfast was included and really nice, and the staff were relaxed and helpful. My room stayed cool, with comfy beds, soft sheets, individual fans, and blinds. I had a great experience.
