Tia Chela hostel

The city center is about a 30-minute walk away, which felt a little far for me. Still, the owner, her son, and her daughter were super nice and helpful. Such a lovely family. I ended up adding two more nights to my stay.

I liked it so much that I stayed for a month and invited my niece. The rooms were comfortable and very clean, with air conditioning. There are several pleasant shared spaces, good WiFi, and room to work together. Breakfast is available, and there's also a shared kitchen. A supermarket is just around the corner in this nice, authentic neighborhood, and they offer laundry service. It's easy to get to the old city, the many tourist beaches, and Tayrona National Park on foot, by bus, or by taxi. The hosts were great, and the staff were very helpful in making the trip easy.

Luis was so kind, helping me order taxis and negotiate a price with the drivers. Tia Chela hostel was brilliant, very clean, and had good facilities, including washing. It's a lovely family-run hostel at a great price!

Tia Chela is such a welcoming and caring host, and the hostel is in a traditional, quiet neighborhood. The decorations inside and outside are beautiful, and the place is environmentally and pet friendly. I don't even know where to start describing how amazing it is. You won't regret staying here.
