The beds were really comfortable, the weather was lovely, and the setting is stunning. Staff were attentive, and there were nurses around the pool in case anyone had a hot flash. Getting in was rough. The access road was practically nonexistent and under construction, so we had to leave the car and walk a kilometre carrying huge bags. Nobody at the hotel seemed to be monitoring what was happening. Check-in and check-out both took painfully long. Water sounds right outside our room were pleasant, but the elevator kept ringing and got annoying. I also wish at least one pool stayed quiet instead of playing music. Food was pricey, average, and served in small portions. We were also disappointed to learn at reception that access to the public pools was no longer included, even though most reviews had said it was.

Room 302 has an unforgettable view, and the spa was spectacular. Dayanna and Luisa were attentive, and we were very pleased with the massage and service. The hotel is beautiful and clean, surrounded by nature, and a great place to disconnect for a few days. Just be aware that the drive in takes about 30 minutes on a poorly maintained dirt road. Access to the Santa Rosa de Cabal hot springs isn't included, either. You can go see them, but you can't bathe there as part of the stay. The food was just okay, and dinner could be better. I booked because it was my birthday, and my husband was staying with me. Although the deposit was paid with his card and under his name, he couldn't arrange a small birthday touch because the reservation was under my name. There wasn't any gesture for my birthday from the staff, not even a candle with dessert or a birthday greeting. That was disappointing, since other hotels I've visited for my birthday have offered at least a small courtesy. If you're coming to celebrate something, bear that in mind.

Being beside that enormous waterfall is a dream, and the natural hot springs are incredible. Termales de Santa Rosa is a wonderful place to unwind, enjoy nature, and get away from everything for a while. Highly recommend it for a peaceful break.

The natural setting is beautiful, but the place itself doesn't live up to it. Tourist services and infrastructure are lacking, and they don't seem to know how to treat visitors. It feels like all they care about is charging for everything. Since the pandemic, they've introduced schedules and seem to have found it profitable to move people through quickly. That's still how things work.

The park, which is separate from the hotel, is impressive, well done, and included with the stay. The mountain setting is breathtaking, and most of the facilities are thoughtfully designed to look after both guests and the natural landscape. The only detail that felt less considered was in the riverside rooms. I'd definitely return. Everything else is done with care and excellence. One suggestion for future guests: request a room away from the river or waterfall. With the windows closed, the noise, especially at night, is very disruptive and doesn't sound like natural ambience.
