Kokohau Bungalows

JP handled the arrangements for our whole kitesurfing trip, so we didn’t have to worry about a thing. We enjoyed his kitesurfing school, its great location and the excellent instructors. He’s incredibly kind and attentive. The accommodation is comfortable, the outdoor areas are beautifully designed, and breakfast is delicious. We had an excellent stay and highly recommend JP’s place for a kitesurfing getaway.

It’s a great spot for kite surfers, close to the beach, and there’s a pool to enjoy too. The hotel has a relaxed vibe, and I had a great time with the local staff. The owner shared good recommendations and suggested other activities for days with less wind.

The owner also runs the kite school and rental at the local spot, which is super convenient, and the rental prices are great. We stayed three days and four nights as a couple, in a clean, tidy room with a good bed and great breakfast. The host and staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. I’d definitely recommend staying here, especially if you’re planning to kite in Santa Veronica/Salinas del Rey.

Juanpablo is the coolest host, teacher and friend. He takes great care of you and has built beautiful bungalows. I had lessons with the teachers JP hires, and they were professional and really nice. I made good progress and recommend this place for learning kitesurfing, staying, playing fun games after dinner or enjoying pool parties. You’re sure to have a good time! It’s a familiar, relaxed place with nice weather for kitesurfing, whether you’re a beginner or advanced. In the windy season, you can kite every day. My best recommendation 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 Caroline :)
