Támesis is a lovely, safe town that's easy to explore on foot. The lively plaza has affordable local restaurants nearby, and there are great outdoor options around, including hikes, waterfalls, and coffee tours. The hotel sits right on the main plaza, with beautiful views of town and the surrounding mountains. Ask for a room facing the plaza or valley for a great balcony view. I stayed one night while visiting, and the hotel was clean, with friendly, helpful staff. The rooms are simple but comfortable, with good hot water and reliable WiFi. It has more of a hotel-motel setup, but the price is good. The only thing I'd change is the bathroom supplies: the soap was tiny, and there was no extra shampoo or other toiletries.

Don't miss Café Vintage, it's unforgettable! Tamesis is a welcoming little mountain town with loads of positive energy. Our trip there was the best part of our Colombia tour. Carlos, their friendly driver, picked us up in Medellin and brought us back. The hotel is right in the center, with the main plaza out front and a lovely valley view from the back. The rooms were clean, the staff super friendly, and the food was good, with vegan and vegetarian options.

It's clean and well located, and in my opinion one of the best deals in Tamesis. The beds felt a bit too hard for me.
