Ayenda La Casa de Siempre

It's a simple hotel, but VERY NICE. I left some money on the table, and after cleaning, every penny was still there. The place is impeccably clean, and the managers are exceptional. You don't find that kind of honesty in many hotels. Thank you for your kindness, Mrs. Bertha. You're a wonderful person.

For short stays, the quality and price are excellent. There are hammocks and chairs in the common area, and guests can use a toaster oven to heat food or store it in the reception refrigerator. They don't provide meals, but food is easy to find nearby: Compae Chipuco is two blocks away, and there's also a very good bakery and pizzeria. The hotel has spacious rooms with private bathrooms and air conditioning, right in the city center. There's no hotel parking, but the public lot across the street costs 10,000 pesos per night; you can also find more parking a few blocks away for the same price. Guests can help themselves to hot water, herbal teas, and instant coffee, and there's a free water dispenser too.

The manager is very receptive to suggestions and willing to find solutions for tourists' needs. There are still plenty of things the hotel could improve, though. The location is excellent and very central, close to Alfonso López Square. It's a good place to stay in Valledupar. I'll come back for a longer vacation when they adapt a room for wheelchair users ♿.

We found food options easily, and the hotel is just a block from Alfonso Lopez square. They even give you a jug to take cold water from the dispenser back to your room. The rooms, price, and service were all very good. We arrived at the start of Holy Week after searching for somewhere at the last minute, and this turned out to be a great find. I hope to come back soon.
