I was exhausted when I arrived late at night with a Hotels.com reservation, and the owner basically said it was a lie. She doesn't take card payments. Thank God I hadn't paid already, because otherwise she wouldn't have honored it. I stayed only because I had no real choice. The place is very ugly and dated, and the cleanliness was poor.

The service here is the best part. It's only a couple of blocks from Plaza Alfonso López, which makes it a great location for the Vallenato Festival and the Vallenato King competition. Thank you very much.

I felt robbed after showing up with a booking confirmation only to be told they had nothing to do with it and I had no reservation. They wouldn't even let me speak, and the security guard threw me out like a dog. That was especially disrespectful at 1:30 am.

A tasty, generous breakfast and very good service. The hotel is close to shops and well placed for visiting Valledupar's famous sites. I'd recommend it for a business trip or a stopover.

Mr. Rafa and Mrs. Carmen are very kind, and so are their children and the cleaning lady. The service was great, the stay was quiet and comfortable, and you're right in the heart of Valledupar near lots of tourist attractions.
