Cabaña Villa Fortuna

I felt misled by the listing. It shows a two-story house but never says the cabin is only the ground floor, with other people living upstairs. We had to share the house and parking entrance, and there was no privacy: people could also come through a separate door that couldn't be secured from inside. Mrs. Gloria lives upstairs and can open that door herself. We were under constant surveillance during family activities, the owners arrived late at night, and noise downstairs kept us from resting. The people upstairs also made a lot of noise at night. The cabin is damp and run-down. It's far from town, and the dirt road has no signs or lighting, so GPS is the only way to find it. The road is in terrible shape. It's not because of roadwork on the Moniquirá road, as they claimed. That's the only route, and it's 25 minutes from town. Villa Fortuna owners, your response doesn't match what happened. Law 1480 of 2011, Article 50, sets out requirements for accurate advertising, and you didn't meet them. The listing never said the second floor wasn't part of the cabin, or that we'd have to share the entrance and put up with the lack of privacy. As a consumer, I'm entitled to give my opinion. I'm not trying to discredit anyone; I'm describing an experience I disliked and where I felt betrayed. I have documentary and testimonial evidence, and since I booked through Booking.com, I've filed a formal complaint. I don't recommend this accommodation.

The house was spotless, and someone even helped us with our laundry. We were really grateful for the service, especially since the staff were dealing with a family emergency and still stayed attentive. We hope to come back. Ansar.

Mrs. Gloria was so hospitable, and my family and our pets had a great time. The house is roomy and well equipped, making it a lovely spot to relax. We'd love to return.

The owners were always ready to help and very attentive. The place is surrounded by nature and has a calm feel, great for relaxing with family or friends. We thought the space was spectacular and highly recommend it.
