Hotel Antonio Nariño

The cozy room and the colonial architecture made us feel as if we’d stepped back into the 18th century. The staff were always so warm and welcoming, something it seems hard to find at another hotel in town. There’s a big parking lot just around the corner, and the location is great for walking around and enjoying this beautiful town. We’ll definitely come back.

Everything is close by on Carrera 9, the local high street, including banks and supermarkets. The Plaza Mayor and bus terminal are both just a block and a half away. I stayed three nights at Hotel Antonio Nariño and really enjoyed it. It’s a lovely colonial building, super clean, and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

We only stayed one night, but it was a lovely stay in the middle of Villa de leyva. The rooms were clean, cool and quiet, just what we wanted, and the staff were friendly. We were lucky there was a festival that weekend and got to enjoy beautiful fireworks from the inner courtyard. Breakfast isn’t served, which was the only downside, but there are plenty of options within walking distance.

My husband and I had a lovely, restful time in this old colonial house. It was quiet, calm, clean and warm, and the location is convenient. Recommended!
