Oasis De San Jose

We got there at 10 a.m. and were told they'd do a quick check-in, but the hotel has stayed closed since then. Two hours on, we're still waiting outside just to leave our bags while checking in. Parking costs extra and isn't part of the hotel. Terrible service!

The staff were somewhat attentive, but the room service was really poor. The clotheslines were dirty, the kitchen hadn't been cleaned, and dishes from the day were still sitting there dirty.

It’s not right by the plaza, which worked out well for a quieter stay and cheaper food and shopping. The rooms were clean, the shared spaces were nice, and there were games to play together. Parking was available through an agreement.

The owners were so kind and helpful, even bringing us hot tea when we weren’t feeling well during our stay in Villa de Leyva. Room #7 was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and a TV with Netflix that kept us company while we were sick. It was quiet, and the private bathroom had a hot shower that worked properly, which isn’t always a given after more than a month in Colombia. Thank you for everything. We’ll definitely come back!
