Posada San Isidro

The rooms are comfortable and welcoming, and the place is cozy and close to the park. The service was a bit lacking, though. Rooms aren't cleaned and towels aren't replaced unless you call and ask. There's no reception open around the clock either, so you need to call someone to come over from somewhere else.

I only stayed one night, and the price was reasonable. Mrs. Martha, who looked after us, was friendly and loved a chat. There was a cat and a parrot in the parking area, both very cute, and I could get coffee at reception. Breakfast is available, but I didn't receive it, and I don't know if it was meant to be brought to the room. Apart from that, it was very good.

It was a wonderful, peaceful stay. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. A thousand thanks for everything.

For a reasonable Villa de Leyva price, you get a clean room, hot shower, and parking included. It's not far from the center either.
