Posada Santa Lucia de Cucaita

We arrived around 11 p.m. and were met by a woman who seemed annoyed to open the door. She spoke to us rudely, said it was very late and we had to be completely quiet because people were sleeping. We questioned that since we had booked what we understood to be a hotel, and she then said it was actually an Airbnb. That hadn't been mentioned when we reserved, and it is listed as a hotel on Booking.com and Despegar. The next morning, one toilet was blocked. Her answer was that we should understand because the house was old. We also didn't get towels until 11 a.m. the following day, and the few we received were wet. She again said we had to understand because she'd had many guests. Sandra, the owner, had assured us at booking that this was a hotel, which was one of the reasons we chose it. The rooms also looked nothing like the photos, which gave us a completely false sense of security. Service was rude and unprofessional throughout, and the stay felt so unpleasant it was like a horror movie rather than a place to relax. We wouldn't return and absolutely can't recommend it.

I loved the decor here. It's a beautiful place for a few comfortable, peaceful days.
