The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a very good bed and a hot shower. Service was impeccable, and breakfast was delicious. The location is great, too. Plaza Centauros may look a little chaotic, but it’s actually nice. People are considerate, the terraces have a good atmosphere for a beer, and nobody bothers you.

The room was okay, though the TV is tiny and the air conditioning barely cools. It’s in a commercial area, so there’s a lot of party noise at night that goes on until early morning. If you want to sleep well, ask for a room on one of the top floors.

I asked for an invoice and they didn’t give me one. When tourists, companies, or businesses request an invoice, they ask for excessive information and may even want to photocopy an ID card, which is a unique, non-transferable identification document. We have a duty to protect our data so it isn’t exposed through carelessness or irresponsibility, or end up in the wrong hands.

The rooms are basic but adequate, and the service is good. Breakfast is simple. You can get coffee and herbal tea in the lobby all day, and there are lots of restaurants and shops nearby. The pedestrian shopping street and main square are only about 100-200 meters away. It’s a good hotel if you want to stay in the center, though there’s some street noise at night and the area doesn’t feel great after dark, which is typical of Villavicencio.
