I felt comfortable at the new hotel. It’s under new ownership and management, now called Hotel Plata, and the rooms are comfortable. They have water and air conditioning, plus a good breakfast service. The service is good.
2/10
The rooms are run down and the bathrooms are in poor shape. The service is terrible. The receptionist falls asleep, leaving guests stuck outside on the street and refusing to open the door. That puts the lives of people who book rooms there at risk. I don’t recommend it.
2/10
There’s never any water, so you end up going out to breakfast without having showered. The employees sleep in the lobby, and breakfast is only pre-packaged food served from 6 am to 9 am. Awful, I really wouldn’t recommend it. There are two much better hotels three blocks away, and I recommend those.
4/10
The location is good, but the infrastructure is worn and damaged. There’s a lot of noise, and the service is average.
6/10
A good breakfast is included, and the hotel is clean and inexpensive.
