Hostal Villa Del Rio Las Brisas

José and his family were lovely hosts. After our night bus, they welcomed us with juice and coffee and let us into our rooms that morning so we could rest. The rooms had air conditioning and a fan, the internet worked well, and towels were provided. We left our big bags at the hostel for two nights while we camped in the dessert. It’s a short walk to the town center, and Jose was super quick and helpful in arranging a motorbike for our time in the desert. There’s a kitchen guests can use. It isn’t fully equipped, but the family are happy to provide whatever you need from their own kitchen. If you want a quiet, family-run hostel at a reasonable price, this is a good fit.

For 25k, you get a room with a double bed and fan, and breakfast is included. The owner, a lady, will also keep you supplied with juice if you’re around during the day. It’s clean, towels are included, and the showers are cold.

We had a lovely experience and really appreciated the morning coffee. If you’re visiting villavieja, we highly recommend this hostal. The hosts are super lovely, and there are nice rooms for a private or dorm stay at a cheap price. Thanks for everything!

The owner is really pleasant and helpful. The place is very good, with clean rooms, air conditioning, a shower, and everything we needed. I recommend it 100%.
