Everything was spotlessly clean, the cleanest of the four hotels we stayed in over two weeks in Costa Rica. Breakfast was good, and all the staff provided excellent service. The hotel is near the main road, so bring earplugs if noise makes it hard for you to sleep. Hotel Bristol Aeropuerto, Costa Rica.

There’s no night staff, and the doors are locked after 10 pm. I arrived at 00:30 am after my flight came in late, which was unpleasant. I hadn’t known the flight would be delayed, and the website didn’t say there was no way in at night. They only send a WhatsApp text, which I didn’t know to expect, so I had no way to contact them. In the middle of the night, I had nowhere to go. I visited about two months ago and the place had seemed excellent, but I can’t recommend it, especially if you don’t speak Spanish.

The rooms were spacious, very nice, and had everything we needed. It’s right off the highway and not far from the airport, and the helpful hotel staff made the stay easy.

A misunderstanding with the Hotel Bristol team led to a personal judgment about Europeans. Such a shame. The swimming pool was nice, though our trip was too short to enjoy it. Wouldn’t recommend this place!

We arrived late and hungry, and the helpful staff arranged to have food delivered to the hotel. Breakfast was lovely, and the garden was pretty, with the pool in the middle. It’s near the airport and has private parking, which made it perfect for our first night after a long flight.
