The garden was a highlight, with several birds to watch, and we loved the little balcony terrace overlooking it. The rooms were beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The owners gave us personal, attentive service from the start, with excellent communication and restaurant suggestions that turned out to be great. We felt genuinely cared for. Breakfast came right to our room at the time we chose. It was prepared with care, with delicious fresh fruit, some of the best we had on the trip, and great coffee with frothed milk. We stayed in December on our Costa Rica road trip, at the last stop before our return flight, and it was a perfect end to the journey. It could also be a starting point or a place to spend a couple of nights on its own. Highly recommended!

The rooms are large, with lovely balconies looking out over a fabulous, tree-filled canyon. The hotel is small but stylish, and we enjoyed having breakfast in the room, delivered at a pre-booked time. It included perfectly ripe fruit, guacamole, toast, and a large pot of coffee. The thin walls meant we could hear noise from other rooms, though. We stayed one night between flights in and out of San Jose airport. The owner picked us up and took us back the next day, and was very helpful with dinner recommendations.

A very friendly, family-run hotel, close to the airport but with a lovely feeling of being in nature. We stayed the first and last nights of our Costa Rica trip and can only recommend it.

We arrived at the airport late but were welcomed warmly, and really enjoyed our stay. The owners are very friendly. He gave us a ride to the car rental, and we had a nice chat along the way. Highly recommended!

The owners are extremely kind and helpful, and breakfast was very good. The rooms are big, beautiful, and clean, with a lovely terrace overlooking the property’s garden. It’s a great place with great people, conveniently close to the airport.
