Hotel Laguna Arenal

The owners made us feel at home from the moment we arrived, and the breakfast was thoughtfully prepared each day with a different menu. That warm hospitality made an already wonderful stay even better. Our room had lovely interiors, a very comfortable bed, and a shower and amenities that felt well cared for. The whole atmosphere was serene, just right for relaxing and disconnecting. The view is unforgettable, peaceful and wide open, and it was a treat to wake up to it every morning. La Fortuna is an easy, scenic drive away, so you can explore and still come back to somewhere quiet. Hotel Laguna Arena is absolutely worth it.

Anna was a wonderful host, so helpful, and the staff were kind and efficient. The grounds were meticulously kept, and our room was beautiful, modern, and spotless. Multiple windows and doors kept it cool, so we didn't need the fan in April. We woke to a peaceful rainforest symphony, and the view of Lake Arenal from our balcony and bed was stunning. Breakfast was a culinary delight, different and delicious each morning, with the lake as a backdrop and even a rainbow. It was absolute paradise, the best hotel of our Costa Rica trip. The location made it easy to reach parks, hanging bridges, and thermal springs. Highly recommend!

The bungalows and views at this stunning property felt unreal. We took amazing pictures looking over the lake, and rainbows showed up often. The food and drinks were fantastic, too. Milena, the general manager and owner, went above and beyond as a host and made us feel at home. We can't wait to return!

The clean bungalows have wifi throughout and free parking, and the location is handy for mistico Park Hanging Bridges and La Fortuna. Breakfast was plentiful and really tasty, prepared by a great chef. Excellent place, with a fantastic view over a beautiful lake.
