It’s fascinating to watch the ocean currents carve pools into the rocks, and you might be tempted to hop in for a cool-down. The ground is rough, so proper water shoes are needed. There’s free parking nearby by the beach section, then you walk over. It can get crowded.

The water is a lovely temperature, and the shallow pools have a natural barrier that keeps the waves out.

It took us a bit to find the place, but it was lovely and worth the effort. We had a great time and felt very safe, with the whole spot to ourselves. From our parking spot, it was no more than a 10-minute walk.
