From the cabin balcony, the beds looked out over the setting, and they were really good. The cabins sit by a small river that flows into the ocean. Their cafe has a BEAUTIFUL ocean view, the food is exquisite and nicely presented, and the morning coffee is great. The young waiter, the chef's son, seemed to love his job. He bragged about his Mama's handmade tortillas, and he was RIGHT. The AC was the best.

Birds, including hummingbirds, were right outside our great room, and there's a lovely beach nearby for swimming. The staff were super nice too. This was the best place we stayed during our whole Costa Rica trip.

There's a restaurant right next door where you can get breakfast, and the staff are so welcoming. The hotel is right by the beach, with a multitude of birds to see.
