The shared bathroom really needs its own basin. Right now we had to wash our hands in the kitchen sink, which felt a little unhygienic. The family running the place were lovely, though, and brought us fruit platters and cleaned both our room and the communal kitchen every day. Our room also got really hot, so keep that in mind.

The hosts were some of the sweetest people we've met, and they really looked after us. They cleaned the room and changed the sheets every day, and brought us fruit platters. This has been our favorite place to stay in Latin America so far, with a central location and the best value in all of Drake Bay. We'd definitely recommend it!

The place is simple but comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Karina and her family were so friendly and helpful. She even arranged our taxi boat and a tour in the reserve without charging extra. 100% recommend it!

The owner’s service is what stood out. She made tea for us every day and even cooked pancakes. The rooms are basic, but great value for the money, definitely the cheapest in the Drake area.

The only thing I didn't like was the mattress, it wasn't very comfortable. The rooms are basic but good for the price, and the family were super friendly and helpful. They can arrange tours and boat taxis at a fair price!
