Casa Tucan

I ended up cancelling my reservation and staying at a hostel. When I arrived, dirty laundry was scattered around, the shared kitchen was filthy and full of dirty dishes, and the fridge was completely gross. There was no clean drinking water and no air conditioning. I can't see how this can be an Airbnb when it's so unsanitary. I wouldn't sleep here under any circumstances. 👎

I wasn't keen on this place. The room smelled damp, the fan was extremely loud, and I couldn't figure out how to lock the window. The cold shower head looked broken and had been patched with a plastic bag. There was just one cooking pot, and someone had left it full of food in the fridge for a day and a half, so it couldn't be used. I think there are better places to stay in Drake Bay.

Hello casa tucan, we accidentally took the key with us, sorry about that. We arrived at eight at night, and by six the next morning we were already in the old forest of Corcovado on the top trails. All the tour operators we found were unavailable and seemed focused on selling tours quickly. The accommodation was fair for the price and worked perfectly for us. Thanks a lot!

A simple place to stay with really nice owners. There’s no AC in the rooms, just a fan, and it doesn’t do much against the heat.
