We only spent one night here before leaving after two weeks in Costa Rica, and we were so disappointed we couldn't stay longer. This was by far the nicest place of our trip. The pool area is soooo scenic, the neighborhood is quiet, and the cats are super cute. Breakfast was wonderful and prompt, and our room was spotless and gorgeous, with a true king-sized bed. If we come back to CR someday, we'll absolutely look into staying here again in San Jose.

We stayed two nights and slept really well. The room was cool while we were there even without aircon. There was a ceiling fan, though it wasn't very strong. The view over the city is beautiful, and there are lots of friendly cats living on the property. Private parking for the car. Customer service was excellent too. We needed a taxi to the airport at 3am, and they arranged a good transfer for a reasonable price.

The pool has a great view, and there are lots of good breakfast options. It's a great location, with Uber available to get anywhere if you're not driving. Clean, comfortable, relaxed.

A small, lovely place to stay in the city, with a great city view and a nice lobby. The room was really spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, though the shower could have been cleaner and better maintained.

My friend and I had booked a stay, but my flight was delayed and I got there the day after the booking. The hotel had no other rooms, so I had to find a different hotel. In my experience, a hotel would usually accommodate someone in a situation like this, but they wouldn't offer me a refund or even a discount. Expedia was very helpful and reached out to them, but the hotel still wouldn't accommodate me. I'd say the service here is bad.
