Lua Villas

We had a really relaxing stay, and I actually preferred it to Santa Teresa itself. Don't be put off by the three-star rating, our experience felt five-star. It was private and lovely, with a cool pool and yoga area, plus a little gym. Getting to the beach barefoot with our surfboards was so easy. Our studio for two had a huge bed, plenty of space to cook, and a private terrace. The one small downside was how expensive the local supermarket was, with prices almost double. We used ATVs for the day to do a big shop in Santa Teresa. If you don't want to eat out all the time, plan ahead for food. The staff were very helpful with arranging ATVs, surfboards, and taxis.

We loved our stay here, the best place in Costa Rica for us. It's peaceful and away from the Santa Teresa crowds, with spacious, well-equipped rooms tucked behind a lush garden that gives each one privacy. The pool and yoga area are great for relaxing, and the little grocery shop is just around the corner if you want to cook in the room's kitchen. Playa Hermosa is under a five-minute walk along a short jungle path, with great surfing and sunsets.

Lua villas was a pleasure to stay at for three weeks, and the staff treated us like family. The place became our home base, and the team made it feel special. I loved the natural art and earthy colors, plus the outdoor yoga deck among the birds and flowers. The location was a favorite too, close to everything we needed but far enough from the hustle and bustle. The short jungle walk to the beach was especially lovely. Thank you to the staff for everything, I'd highly recommend these villas.

A lovely green hideaway, just a short walk from an amazing beach. The rooms are cool and clean, and even during the hottest part of the day there was a shady spot by the pool when we couldn't be at the beach. Service through the WhatsApp concierge was friendly, efficient, and so helpful. Loved it!
