Arenal Manoa

Arenal Manoa felt wonderfully immersed in the rainforest. Our villa had a completely private little patio surrounded by nature, which we could even see from the bed. The grounds were beautiful, and the volcano was visible from the pool. The hot springs were lovely and relaxing. The food was good, and everyone on staff was kind and welcoming. Everything was pristine, and I felt very safe bringing my family. We had an amazing stay and would absolutely recommend it.

The volcano view from our room was magnificent, so try to get one with that view. The resort itself was beautiful, and the staff made my family and me feel very welcome with their friendly, hospitable service. It suited us as a family, and would work for couples too. My seven-year-old especially loved the hot springs. It was our first visit, and a big thank you to our new friends at Arenal Menoa: Jason, Joe, Bryan, Carol, Gaudy, David , Luis and Roxanne. You all went above and beyond, and we appreciated the care that went into making our stay special.

Falling asleep to crickets and waking up to birds was one of my favorite parts. The view from my suite was incredible, and the whole place felt like a Costa Rican oasis, with thick greenery, lots of birds, and an amazing look at Arenal volcano. The staff made a great first impression. When I checked in, they asked if I wanted to see a sloth on the way to my suite. They whistled to get its attention so I could see its face and take photos. At the suite, there was a tasty welcome drink with strawberries and chocolate. WhatsApp made it easy to ask the team for help, and I could also message them before the trip to arrange tours. They organized rides to and from downtown La Fortuna too, about a ten-minute drive away. I’ll definitely stay here again.

The hot springs were warm, secluded, and surrounded by lush greenery, and the views and location were wonderful. My fiancé and I did a lot of research before choosing Arenal Manoa for La Fortuna, and we’re so glad we did. We’re home now and still talking about our beautiful stay. The staff were helpful and friendly. I can’t recommend it enough.
