The woman who owns the place is very friendly, and it's well located with a scooter rental next door. Rates were $30 for 8 hours or $45 for 24 hours. The room is basic but clean, with a fridge and a small kitchen that has a coffee maker and rice cooker.

We couldn't sleep because the room smelled strongly of dog pee. It was old, ugly, and the bed was uncomfortable. It's a big shame for a tourist place like fortuna. The health ministry should close this place immediately.

The rooms are cozy, beautiful, and really comfortable. Customer service was very friendly, everything was clean, and the prices were excellent. Definitely one of the best cabins in Arenal.
