The price was extremely good for such a clean, well-organized place, and the rooms even have AC. We had an amazing time at Ceiba Hostel. Asu was so friendly, and we had a lot of fun playing cards with her. She also ran a trivia night, which made the evening more fun. Ronald was a fantastic host too, very welcoming and a big help with booking activities and shuttles.

The dorms and outdoor area were lovely, and the kitchen was great and really clean. They even had hot coffee there every morning, which was a huge plus. Josua was the best host, so kind and helpful, and gave us loads of good trip recommendations. Everyone staying there was friendly, so it was easy to meet people if you wanted. One of our favorite stays of the whole trip. We’d definitely come back :)

There was plenty on offer at this lovely hostel: tours and shuttles, nightly events and games, plus a small bar with a good selection of beers. The kitchen is small but stocked with the essentials. Toilets and hot showers are upstairs and downstairs. It was very clean, with comfortable beds, and every room had AC and fans. The staff were friendly.

Paola brought such great energy, and the volunteers kept things going every night with trivia, bingo, karaoke, bonfires and more. I had an insane three-night stay at Ceiba Hostel. Just book all your nights ahead: if you extend after checking in, they might move you to a different bed.

Ronald fixed my curtain right away, and Asu, one of the volunteers, made everyone feel welcome and spoke perfect English. Ceiba was a really good stay for such an affordable price. I was very happy there and would definitely recommend it.
