Erupciones Inn

Staff were very friendly and breakfast was very good, just as other reviews say. Our stay in unit one was disappointing, though. There were bugs on the ceiling, the sink had only one tap for cold water, and you needed a key to unlock the bathroom door. The room felt dated, and there wasn’t a chair inside, so we had to sit outdoors. We’re not looking for a high-end hotel, but a hairdryer would have been nice. Expedia showed a kitchenette in our booking, but there wasn’t one when we arrived. Also, be prepared for a very cold swimming pool.

The view of Arenal Volcano from here is amazing. By car, the location makes it easy to reach most attractions in the area. Our room and bed were okay, and there was a kitchenette, though it had very little in it. We weren’t told there would be construction next to room 5, unfortunately.

It felt like being at home in a little oasis, with lots of plants and well-kept facilities. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the pool was gorgeous with a perfect volcano view. Breakfast was delicious, too. The staff were incredibly friendly and made everything feel personal. Thank you, Geysel and the whole team, for such a lovely stay. I’d give confort Arenal 1000 out of ten and am already planning to bring the whole family back.

The location is great, near tabs on hot springs and just 10 minutes from the city. Rooms are basic, and the staff are friendly.
