We really liked the trip to Rio Celeste that the owner arranged for us. They were also very accommodating when we arrived early and let us leave our things. The accommodation is lovely, and there’s an outdoor place to sit. If we return to La Fortuna, we’ll definitely stay here again.

The apartment was spacious, well located, and very clean, with a kitchen and our own washing machine. Self check-in was easy, and WhatsApp contact was quick. Parking is right outside. The neighborhood was somewhat noisy, but luckily we sleep with earplugs.

The garden was a lovely surprise. We enjoyed birdwatching there and even spotted a toucan, which made the stay feel extra special. The place is centrally located, with the waterfall and many hot springs only a few minutes away by car, and the suspension bridge park around half an hour away. It was very clean and good value for money. Though a bit dated, it has what you need for a few days.

You’ll be in a very comfortable, clean place in a very safe area. It’s an excellent choice, 500 meters or less from the central park of La Fortuna de San Carlos.
