The staff were helpful, and from the upper two floors you can look out over nearly the whole town. You can also get mountain and volcano views. It’s a nice enough hotel in a great downtown La Fortuna location. Don’t expect much of a social scene at the hotel, though. The open-air restaurant and bar on the main floor by the lobby is usually quiet. There are cafes and restaurants within walking distance.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was very nice. The staff at every level were great, attentive, and accommodating. It’s a good hotel in a fabulous location, and I’d gladly stay here again.

The room had a great view and the location was good. The staff were very helpful, and we could use the hot springs at the sister hotel. The downsides were poor lighting in the room and a quite hard mattress, which made it harder to stay awake or sleep.

The view of the volcano from our room was amazing, and the price was decent. Breakfast tasted good, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. They pointed us to what they said was the best zip-line and hot springs package at Los Lagos. Light sleepers should know that volcano-facing rooms get a lot of noise from traffic and nearby clubs. We turned on the TV, which helped.

Restaurant review only: My family of three ate here, and everything was excellent. The food was plated beautifully, and there were vegetarian and seafood choices alongside the steakhouse options.
