Carla and the team made a real effort to put service first. Their email and WhatsApp communication was great, and they were patient with me while I was traveling. The bungalows felt like the best value for the price, and I wish more places had staff this focused on service. My stay was comfortable: the bed had a pillow top, the shower was huge, the closet was a good size, and I liked the wine glasses. There was good AC and hot water, plus a front porch I enjoyed. Breakfast was nice too. It’s about a five-minute drive outside town, with restaurants within walking distance.

The staff were helpful when I had questions, and Carla even replied promptly on WhatsApp in the evenings. My cabin was clean and roomy, with AC and a kitchenette that came in handy for snacks between meals. For the price, I thought it was pretty good value. It’s outside the center of town, so keep the distance in mind when planning transport or getting around. Also, you can’t pay by card. You’ll need cash or an e-transfer.

The rooms were gorgeous and among the cleanest I’ve seen, and the workers were incredibly nice and helpful. The price for what you get is amazing. You can buy breakfast separately, but it needs to be ordered in advance, not on the day. It was delicious, especially with the extra fruit. We’d definitely stay here again.

La Fortuna Waterfall Bungalows was a lovely find. It’s near town while still away from the busy parts of La Fortuna. I’d recommend it and stay here again on another visit.

Our bungalow was clean, quiet, and spacious, surrounded by nature. The views were beautiful, with a clear view of the volcano, and the waterfall just a five-minute drive away. The staff were very friendly. We added breakfast, which came with fresh local fruit, eggs, rice and beans, toast, and coffee.
