Río Danta Hostel

After 14 hours of travel I'm too tired to do this place justice, but I've stayed in hostels across at least 15-20 countries and never had an experience this good. I felt safe and at home, and slept really comfortably. The kitchen was stocked, the location was easy to reach, and there was so much here, from an outdoor workout area and hammocks to laundry and ping pong. The employees seemed to never stop, and the place was unbelievably clean. And the price, too!

I had a private room with a shared bathroom, and they supplied towels and cleaned for free. Laundry is available on site for an extra charge, and it was done promptly. The staff were friendly, and the place was clean and easy to get around. A floor mat in the room would help keep it cleaner. Hot water in the shower wasn't always available.

The beds were comfortable, and I especially liked the curtains, fans, gym, and tucked-away seating space above the gym. The price and location were both great. The layout felt awkward, though, and the hostel had a smell, strongest in the rooms and around the bathrooms.

The hostel is in a quiet spot, still an easy walk from the centre, and the price is really good. Everything was clean, with a nice kitchen, hot showers, and several places to sit. The people were very friendly, too. I stayed just one night and slept well, thanks in part to the curtains on the bunks giving some privacy in the shared room. I'll definitely come back!
